Extreme Weather - January 05, 2008
We have all seen the news where forest fires have ravaged southern California because of the high winds. We have seen the fierce snow storms in the Sierras leaving millions in the valley without power. We have seen the massive flooding in the heartland and the extreme drought in the southern part of the United States. We have seen hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes and more in recent times. What causes it?  Is this just a natural cycle of the earth? Is it just a freak accident of nature to have extreme shifts in weather patterns? Is it just an accident where places that normally have cold weather are receiving unusually high temperatures and drought, while other places which are normally hot are now experiencing frigid temperatures? What about the extreme shifts in temperature from one day to the next? You never know if you need a coat or a short sleeve shirt! 

What does God say? He says wake up for the Judge is standing at the door; your sins have risen up to heaven and are a stench to His nostrils. I am calling on the world to repent of your evil practices and acceptance of other gods through your many different world religions. There is only one God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for our sins.  If you think the weather is extreme now, just wait!  Millions more will be effected by the tsunamis, snow storms, blizzards, flooding, hurricanes, and an ever increasing heat index producing larger and more deadly forest fires.

So dear friends, it’s time to repent and turn back to the one and only true God of Heaven and Earth.  Accept His gospel and allow Him to make you into a new creation while time is still left to repent.
