Introduction

This is a final warning to everyone living in the world that the hour of His judgment is coming and the wrath of God is being poured out on all ungodliness. For years this has been referred to as the Great Tribulation. Many tell us that the Great Tribulation is future and that born again Christians can expect a secret rapture that will deliver them just in the knick of time before things get too bad. Things are already bad and getting worse by the minute. The world is swirling around going ever deeper into an abyss of wickedness and depravity. The church has long since stopped its influence and has sat idly by watching the world's decline into a depth of gross immorality. Many in the church have taken on the mantle of the world, following its teachings, its entertainment, its enjoyments, its personality and its attitude toward life.

It is the believe of this author, and I believe the most biblical position, that the rapture will not be secret because every eye shall see Christ when He magnificently returns in glory. The Bible says," For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left (at the conclusion of the Great Tribulation) will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." (I Thess. 4:16-17)Friends, this return is anything but secret! I can only imagine the fear that will strike the hearts of the unbelievers as they gasp for air and fall to their knees in submission. For Christ's galactic return to earth is to punish those who have not remained faithful to Him during the Great Tribulation and to cast the beast and the false prophet into the lake of fire.

Many Christians are duped into believing that all they need to do is sit leisurely by and wait for this secret rapture to occur. They are completely blind to the fact that they are living in the midst of the Great Tribulation and the forces arrayed against them are formidable. The pressure to capitulate our faith is intense. And as we shall see many of these attacks are subversive and under the cloak of deception. The Bible says the powers of the beast (or the Anti-Christ) are so strong and powerful that if possible the very elect will be led astray (See Mt. 24:24). This is a warning for both the Christian and the pagan who live amongst us, for everyone will be judged and all will go through the Great Tribulation coming upon the world.

The outline of this little book is taken from the book of Revelation and specifically from the final warning given by the three angels to all those living on the earth during the Great Tribulation. The Final Warning of the First Angel is covered in the first section of the book, which gives the initial preparation for standing firm during the Great Tribulation. In the first chapter a plea is made to believe the eternal gospel before it is too late. A gospel planned from eternity past to translate you from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light, to make you into a new creation, and give you the gift of eternal life. In these confusing days the simple gospel and the way of the cross is a breath of fresh air. Especially to those who are suffocating from all the voices of other world religions and vain philosophies.

In the next two chapters a final warning is given to respond properly to the eternal gospel by fearing God and giving Him the glory, because the hour of His judgment has come. A description is given of the plagues and wrath of God being poured out on all ungodliness. This will generate a new godly fear while discovering a renewed strength in His providential care. We live in an amazing day where fallen humanity glories in his accomplishments. In this next chapter we re-discover many practical ways to give God the glory through such things as our spiritual growth, personal relationships, and worship. This is a call to live our lives in such a way as to glorify the Father in the midst of the Great Tribulation.

In Chapter Four we will discuss why it is imperative to worship God as the Creator. To do so leads you to develop a biblical worldview that completely sets you apart from the rest of the world. It opens your eyes to the unseen world and the powerful forces arrayed against God's good creation and how God's sovereign control currently restrains lawlessness until the time He decides to remove the restraint.

In the next section of the book the Second Angel proclaims his Final Warning to the new Global City, “Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great, which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries” (Rev. 14:8b). A convincing argument is made that the Global City of man is already being built and is headed up by the beast of worldly power to enslave the nations by teaching them to follow his godless agenda. We meticulously detail the characteristics of the new Global City, showing how it is being built on the same crumbling foundations of Ancient Rome. As the Great City goes global it produces a new world economy, a new philosophy of tolerance, a new secular worldview, a new world democracy, a new world religion in disguise, and a new world order linking the entire world together in a common collective using the Internet.

In Part II of the Destruction of the Global City a detailed account of its destruction will be unveiled. The final bowls of God's wrath and His ensuing plagues are unleashed upon the Global City to such an extent that, 'When the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and mourn over her' (Rev. 18:9). Christians are warned to flee Vanity Fair and the conforming influences of the Global City.

The Third Angel sounds his Final Warning to those who worship the beast, his image, and take his mark. In Chapter Seven we see that the stage is already set for the beast (or the Anti-Christ) to cause every tongue, people, tribe and nation, whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, to worship him, his image, and take his mark. The shocking description of the beast, his image and his mark will surprise even the devout Christian. It is demonstrated that many in the world, completely unaware, are already worshiping the image of the beast and taking his deceptive mark. This is the final warning, because the hour of His judgment has come!

In the next chapter the Angel continues his Final Warning of the pending judgment and eternal torment. A graphic description of eternal torment is given which is both terrifying and chilling. During the Great Tribulation fallen humanity will experience a small measure of this eternal torment as a foretaste of things to come. Not everyone will heed the warning in this little book, but will continue to worship the beast, his image, and take his mark. By doing so there will be irreversible consequences.

In the Final Section of this little book a final word is given to the saints who are faithful and obedient to remain patient during the Great Tribulation. These biblical instructions will help you to stand firm and to come off victoriously from worshiping the beast, his image, and taking his mark. In the final chapter a special blessing to those who endure the Great Tribulation along with a description of the eternal City of God coming down from heaven will delight your heart and have you crying out - Victory, Victory at last!

My hope and prayer is that once your eyes have been opened by the Holy Spirit through the reading of this little book you will pass it on to those who need to be snatched from the flames of the coming judgment. The book, "Final Warning," was primarily written to help God's people survive the Tribulation force that is sweeping the planet. A force so powerful as to cause "days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now - and never to be equaled again.” (Mark 13:19)
